“Mere Hamdam Mere Dost”(1968) was directed by Amar Kumar for Kewaljeet Productions, Bombay. The movie had Dharmendra, Shrmila Tagore, Rehman, Mumtaz, Achla Sachdev, Nigar Sultana, Sulochana, Santosh Kumar, Snehalata, Om Prakash, Baldev Mehta, Khairati(Guest Artiste), Brahm Bhardwaj, Supariwala aka Sopariwala, Nazir Kashmiri, Sheroo, Kishan, Bishan Khanna, Prem Prakash, Subash Kirti, Yash Kumar etc in it.

Here is the sixth song from “Mere Hamdam Mere Dost”(1968) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The song is picturised as a club dance song on Mumtaz. Heroes are duty bound to remain present at club when such a club song is being performed so Dharmendra is present in the picturisation. Rehman the villain is naturally present as well. One can also see Chinoo in the picturisation, among others.
