“Bin Phere Ham Tere”(1979) was directed by Rajat Rakshit for N P International, Bombay. The movie had Asha Parekh, Vinod Mehra, Sarika, Nazneen, Nadira, Kamal Kapoor, C S Dubey, Jankidas, Mushtaq Merchant, Jagdish Raj, Master Salim, Johny Whisky, Dr Dutt, Master Pappu etc in it, with Rajendra Kumar in a friendly appearance.
The movie had four songs in it. Two of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the third song from “Bin Phere Ham Tere”(1979) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Indeewar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Usha Khanna.
The song is picturised as a Krishn bhajan song and it is picturised on Asha Parekh, who was seen in an elderly god fearingelderly role for the second time in her career. The first such occasion for her was in “Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki”(1978) that had come the previous year.
The picturisation also shows Kamal Kapoor, who is initially pleased as the sounds of this bhajan, but seems less than pleased when he finds out who is singing this bhajan. He apparantly has known her as a dancing lady rathaer than a bhajan singer.

Kamal Kapoor has come to meet Vinod Mehra’s mother to finalise the wedding of his daughter -Sarika or Nazneen i don’t remember. he encounters Asha Parekh and disapproves of the rishta as he knows Asha Parekh’s background and also he has his doubts of Asha being Vinod’s biological mother.
i have seen this part of the movie a few years back. the movie was a 10 handkerchief movie
