“Goonj”(1952) was produced by H S Kwatra and directed by Phani Majumdar for Kwatra arts Productions, Bombay. The movie had Suraiyya, suresh, Sapru, Majnu, Ramesh Thakur, Madan Puri, Randheer, Urvashi, Praveen, Rajni, Uma Devi, Moti Sood, Jugal, Gadadhar Sharma, Darpan, Ravikant, Bhag Singh Joshi, Sohan, Bhagwan etc in it.
The movie had eleven songs in it. Eight of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the ninth song from “Goonj”(1952) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rajkumari. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sardul Kwatra.
I have failed to note down the lyrics of this song to my satisfaction. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections in the lyrics of this song.

Heartiest Congratulations Atul ji on achieving 400th song of 1952 and thus covering 400+ songs for each year from 1949 to 1961.
It is a great feat, unmatched by any other Blog anywhere ( in the world) I am sure !
It is a result of your untiring efforts and building a team which is with you all the way,all the time.
