“Tigress”(1948) was directed by Keshav Talpade for Basant Pictures, Bombay. This Fearless Nadia starrer stut movie had Fearless Nadia, Prakash, Dalpat, Soa Chatterji, Boma Shroff, Radha, Qamar, Jal Khabhata, Kareem, Saleem, Rajput (the horse), Moti (the dog), Austi ki bachhchi (the car) etc in it. 🙂
HFGK lists five songs in it and singers are ot identified for any of these songs.
Three of these songs have bee covered in the past. Here is the fourth song from “Tigress”(1948) to appear in the blog. The sog is sung by a male voice whom I am unable to identify. C M Hunar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
The video of this song is available, but I cannot identify the lip syncer though the recipient of his attentio is unmistakably Nadia herself.
I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the singer as well as the actor lip sycing the song.

Sog-Ye chaand taare hamen beqaraar karte hain (Tigress)(1948) Lyrics-C M Hunar, MD-Chitragupta
Lyrics
jo in haseenon ko o o
bhoole se pyaar karte hain
unhi ke dil ko ye zaalim shikaar karte hain
ye chaand taare hamen bekaraar karte hain
ye chaand taare hamen bekaraar karte hain
ae maut aa tera ham intezaar karte hain
ae maut aa tera ham intezaar karte hain
ye chaand taare hamen
nahin mitaane se mit’ta naseeb ka lekha aa
nahin mitaane se mit’ta naseeb ka lekha
mitaanewaale to
mitaanewaale to
koshish hazaar karte hain
ye chand taare hame bekarar karte hain
ham aur kya teri mehmaani ab karen ae gham
ham aur kya teri mehmaani ab karen ae gham
ye aansuon ka hai tohfa nisaar karte hain
ye aansuon ka hai tohfa nisaar karte hain
ae maut aa tera ham intezaar karte hain
ae maut aa tera ham intezaar karte hain
ye chaand taare hamen bekarar karte hain

A beautiful number by Chitragupta. Did it have to lay buried in many unheard numbers?
