“Shagun” (1951), also spelled as “Shagan” in some places, was directed by S Arora for Punjab Art Productions. This obscure movie had Sulochana Chatterji, Kamal Kapoor, Bhudo Advani, Ranjit Kumari, Wasti etc in it.
The movie had nine songs in it. Two of these songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the third song from “Shagun” (1951) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata. Mulkraj Bhakri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.
Only the audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
