“Deewaangi”(1976) was produced by Subodh Mukherji and directed by Sameer Ganguly. The movie had Shashi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Helen, Manju, Mehmood, Madan Puri, Narendra Nath, Paintal etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Deewaangi”(1976) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S D Burman.
The song is picturised as a roothna-manaana song on Shashi Kapoor and Zeenat Aman.
This song was the only song of the movie which was composed by S D Burman. He expired before he could compose other songs. The remaining five songs were later composed by Ravindra Jain.
With this song, all Hindi relaesed movies with music by S D Burman (except one movie ) have now been represented in the blog. “Chittor Vijay”(1947) is the only movie with S D Burman’s music which is missing from the blog because songs from this movie are not available to us as of now.
