“Holiday in Bombay”(1963) was directed by P L Santoshi for Yugchhaaya, Bombay. This movie, described as a “social” movie, was an entertaing comedy movie in fact. The movie had Shashi Kapoor, Vijaya Chaudhary, Rajendranath, Naseem Bano, Dhumal, P Kailash, Ulhaas, Randheer, Sulochana Chatterji, Rajan Haksar, Jeewankala, Ram Kumar, Renu Makkad, Heera Sawant, Kundan, B B Bhalla, D Dilip, Nazeer Kashmiri, Hublikar, Laxmi Chhaaya etc in it.

Only the audio of the song is available. The uploader describes it as a rare song, but I remember having listened to this song is the past. It is an archtypical “Chaayaageet” song which is an ideal song to listen to during night time, with most people already asleep. Though it must be said that people now a days do not sleep even at “Chaayaageet” time. 🙂
