This day ten years ago (7 september 2010) saw six songs being covered in the blog. The first song was posted at 7 :30 AM whereas the sixth and final song was covered at 9:42 AM.

The first five movies whose songs were discussed ten years ago, have been YIPPEED by now. That leaves us with only one movie, namely “Khoon Paseena”(1977) which can be taken up today (7 september 2020) under “Blog Ten Year Challenge”.
“Khoon Paseenaa”(1977) had made its debut in the blog ten years ago. That song remains the only song from the movie that has been posted on the blog. That song was :-

The song that appears today is the title song cum theme song of the movie. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar and chorus. Anjaan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.
The song is lip synced on screen by Amitabh Bachchan in an archtypically Amitabh Bachcahn style. Rekha, Nirupa Roy, Aruna Irani , Asrani and many others can also be seen in the picturization of this song.
This song, a popular song of those days stood at 30th position in that year’s Binaca Geetmala finals..

Thanks for the post Atul ji.
Congratulations on Kishore Kumar’s 1200th song on the blog.
This song was popular and frequently heard then. But I had not listened to it during recent years. Thanks to ‘Blog Ten Year Challenge’, I enjoyed it a lot and listened to many times.
Kishore Kumar has sung it in his inimitable style and with gusto.
