On this date ten years ago (13 April 2013), nine songs from nine different movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We observe that three movies (out of nine) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (viz on 13 april 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with six movies that are unYIPPEED and therefore eligible for Blog ten year challenge today (13 April 2023).
“Sharbati Aankhen”(1945) is one BTYC eligible movie today.
“Sharbati Aankhen”(1945) was directed by Ramchandra Thakur for Wadia Movietone, Bombay. This movie had Vanmala, Ishwarlal, Agha, Sumati Gupte, Rajkumari Shukla, Aftab, Harish,Anwari, Kelkar, Firoz Dastur,Asbela Begum,Alaknanda, Nand Kishore, Sayyed Ahmed, M.K.Hasan etc in it.
“Sharbati Aankhen”(1945) had ten songs in it. Four songs have been covered so far.
Here is the next song from the movie. This song is a multiple version song. It has happy version and sad version. Hamida Bano is the singer for happy version whereas Ameerbai Karnataki’s voice is heard in the sad version. Tanveer Naqvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Feroz Nizami.

Atul ji,
I am certain that the voice in the sad version of the song is that of Amirbai Karnataki. Listen the song when she sings at a higher octave and you will agree with me that it is Amirbai Karnataki.

On listening to the sad version, I too felt that the sad version voice did not sound like Hamida Bano. You are right, the voice is more like that of Amirbai Karnataki in the sad version.
