“Kaanoon Aur Mujrim”(1981) was produced by S C Jethani and directed by Sham Jethani and Jeevan Kumar for L K Movies, Bombay. The movie had Vijendra Mittal, Madhumalini, Padma Khanna, Meena T , Jayshree T , Bharat Kapoor, Avtar Gill, Anand, Ratna, Ved Goswami, C.S. Mantri, Khalil Khan, Dr. Relan, Reema, Venus, Maqbool, Sarita, Sheela, Deepak, Aasha, Shaan etc in it. Jagdish Raj, Bhagwan Dada, Mohan Choti had made friendly appearances in the movie.
This movie introduced Manish Kumar and Noorie.
“Kaanoon Aur Mujrim”(1981) had six songs in it. Two songs from the movie have been covered in the blog. The second song was covered exactly ten years after the first song. The movie made its debut in the blog 16 years ago whereas the second song was covered in the blog nearly six years ago.
Here is the third song from “Kaanoon Aur Mujrim”(1981) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Dilraj Kaur. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist.Music is composed by C Arjun.
Only audio of the song is available. From the sounds of it, this song sounds like a club dance song or a cabarat dance song. From the star cast, it could well have been picturised on Jayshree T or Meena T or Padma Khanna. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
The song by the way does not sound like any great shakes. No wonder this song, despite being uploaded 7 years ago has negligible views and only 7 likes. It shows that B grade movies post golden era, unlike B grade movies of golden era, did not boast of A grade music. The musical team had created good songs in other genre, but they were not well equipped to create a good club/ cabarat dance song.
