Wow, probably the best specimen of a ‘roothna – manaana’ song, if ever there was one. And done with such merriment and such a ticklish and playful performance by both the parties involved. I am glad the video of this song is available. Even after 66 years, the effect of this song and its visual has such a rollicking effect. I am sure you are going to love this song.

“Neelkamal” (1947) was produced and directed by Kidar Sharma. The movie had Raj Kapoor and Madhubala in lead roles. The movie also had Begam Para, Nazira, Rajendra, Shanta Kumari, Baby Indira, Kumar Sahu, Pesi Patel, Subhashini etc in it.

“Sartaj” (1950) is an obscure movie which was produced by Omar Khayyam (?) and directed by S Khalil. This movie had actors like Motilal, Munawwar Sultana, Cuckoo, Manorama, Ansari, Mirza Musharaf, Shyama, Rattan Bai etc in it.
