Jackie Shroff made his debut as a leading man in 1983 through the Subhash Ghai directed “Hero”. Following its success he was signed up for ‘Teri Meherbaniyan’, ‘Yudh’, ‘Karma’, ‘Shiva ka Insaaf ‘ etc. Of these, ‘Shiva Ka Insaaf’ that released in 1985 was advertised as India’s first 3-D movie.
