Most of the songs that Suraiyya sang in her career were picturised on herself. But there was a stage, in the beginning of her career, where she sang for other actresses too. It was during early 1940s.

The lyrics of this song has been provided by Sudhir , a new reader of this blog and a fellow entusiast of Hindi movies and their songs
It is interesting to know how the information that is common knowledge four decades back becomes rare information with passage of time. Today few people know about the existence of this movie and its songs. This tells me that Suraiyya was clearly there in this movie as the leading lady. And this also tells me that Madan Mohan in that case had a few of his songs sung by Suraiyya too.
