I had heard of the movie called “Bilwamangal” (1954) even in my younger days, because I had read about this movie in magazines. That is all I knew about this movie till now.
Here is a song from this movie. It is sung by Suraiyya. So it follows as a natural corollary that this song is pictured on her as well.
D N Madhok is the lyricist.The lyrics are indeed interesting and the idea contained in the song is quite original. The song tells of the need of having two hearts for those who fall in love, one of them being a spare one,so that one of the hearts is still there in good condition, in case one has a heart break in love.

Atul ji,
Wonderful find, lovely song. Bilwamangal movie was a biopic on the life of Sant Soordas; CH Atma played the role of Soordas.
The movie has many other beautiful songs. One of my favorites is
“Parwaanon se preet seekh len
Shama se seekhen jal jaana
Phir duniya ko yaad rahega
Tera mera afsaana . . . .”
