“Beti” (1969) was a K P S Films Production. It was produced by K P S Singh and N P singh and directed by Harmesh Malhotra. The movie had Sanjay Khan, Nanda, Rajendra Nath, Asit Sen,, Madhumati, Shyama ,Sulochana Latkar, Kamini Kaushal, Raj Mehra, Ram Mohan, Shabanam, Sheela.R aka Sheila Ramchandra, Kishore Sahu, Randhir, Mirza Musharraf, Dulari, Jankidass, Lalita Kumari, Sujata, Niranjan Sharma, Narbada Shankar, Baby Sarika, Rajeev,Chinnoo, Master Rippee etc in it.

Ye kya kiyaa re duniyaa waale

“Beti” (1969) is a movie which had Sanjay Khan, Nanda, Kamini Kaushal, Kishor Sahu, Rajendra Nath in it. I have not seen this movie but it is my theory that a movie whose title included words like “Beti”, “Bhabhi”, “Bahu” etc tend to be a tales of women who are shown sacrifices just for the sake of it. I do not know whether I am correct in my assesment of this movie that I have made just by looking at the title and the starcast. I request our knowledgeable readers to help confirm/ refute my guess about this movie.

There are many movies which have titles like “beti”, “beta”, “bhai”, “bahan” and their various combinations. In fact, I tend to get confused among their various combinations. And to complicate matters, there may be different movies of the same name as well.
