Today’s Bhajan is from a Devotional film (भक्ति प्रधान ) – Bhakta Raj-1943. This was a film made by Jayant Desai Productions, Bombay. It was directed by Jayant Desai himself. The Lyricist was D.N.Madhok and the music was by C Ramchandra.

“Bhakt Raaj” (1960) was directed by V M Vyas for Shri Nityanand Chitra productions. The movie had Sulochana, Trilok Kapoor, Prem Adeeb, Kuldip Kaur, Dara Singh, Kumkum, Shahu Modak, Lalita Pawar, David Abraham etc in it.

Today (17 march ) is just another day in the calendar as far as most people are concerned. As for me, I remember this day quite clearly. Among 17 march of all the years, the year 2007 is especially vivid in my mind.
