Today’s Asha Bhosle song is “Dil Jale Toh Koi Kya Kare” from Call Girl (1974), which is penned by Naqsh Lyallpuri and composed by Sapan Jagmohan.
“Call Girl-1974” was directed by Vijay Kapoor for Mukesh Movies, Bombay. It was produced by Mukesh Khanna.
It starred Zahira, Vikram Makandar, Iftekhar, Urmila Bhatt, Shekhar Purohit, Minoo Mehtab, Reddi, Mansaram, Satyajeet, Shefali, Jankidas, Heena Kausar and Kuljeet.

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2009-19) – Song No. 8

When our dear Atul ji recently started an ‘innovative’ initiative under the ‘ten-year challenge’ or ‘Blog ten-year challenge’ I had mentioned it in my comments on the ‘first song’ in this series that, I would try to share lyrics if not articles as possible in this series. I had also mentioned that I could see a few opportunities for me in the coming days of this month. That was because I was browsing the posts of February’2009 on my own.
Today I have this opportunity to share a ‘song post’ under this series. And since its from ‘seventies’ I am happy to share it here.

The movie “Call Girl”‘ (1974) is all but forgotten now, and even the music directors Sapan Jagmohan failed to make it big, but one song from this movie “ulfat me zamaane ki har rasm ko thukraao” became reasonably popular.
