After discussing the sixth song of “Half Ticket” (1962), I thought that all the songs of this movie were covered. I did not receive the expected “Yippee” comment from Pradeep Raghunathan though which he makes every time such a thing happens. He informed me that one song from this movie was still missing.

“Half Ticket” (1962) was a Film Technician Production. Kalidas is the director. The movie had Kishore Kumar, Madhubala, Pran etc in it. This movie was one of few Hindi movies that could be described as a laugh riot.

Most Hindi movies tend to be made on “serious” topics. Light hearted fun movies are are quite few because making such movies obviously takes more skill and ability than making movies of mainstream topics.

“Half Ticket” was a laugh riot featuring Kishore Kumar and Pran. The movie had a heroine too, but I am not able to recall her name, that is how Kishore and Pran centric this movie was. Pran would for ever be after Kishore Kumar much like cartoon characters Tom and Jerry ( or replace their names by any other set of cartoon characters).
