Today (23 april 2014) is the birth anniversary of S Janaki. I almost worship her voice, right from childhood.

She has the distinction of singing songs in 17 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Tulu, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, Sinhalese, Konkani, Punjabi, Japanese, Baduga, German etc.
