Day before yesterday (14 january 2018) was Makar Sakranti and that marked the beginning of another new year, viz Hindu new year. Why we should not make new year resolutions on this occasion as well. In our case, we can resolve to continue our new year resolutions of Gregorian calendar new year. 🙂

Duniya Gol hai ! It looks like I go round and round and round and somehow end up discussing C.Ramchandra songs every now and then !! Believe me, it is not intentional, but a coincidence. When I see a good song not yet posted here, I get tempted to discuss it. If it is a C Ramchandra song, then I admit that the urge to post it becomes simply irresistible !!!. It is not just because it gives me an opportunity to write about C Ramchandra , but I honestly feel that there is still so much to be said about C Ramchandra that I shall never feel short of material about him.

The autobiography of C Ramchandra( Majhya Jeevana chi Sargam-copyright by Yeshwant Ramchandra Chitalkar) is somewhat disappointing. Not that it is totally bereft of such things, but considering his musical successes during the Golden Era, one feels deprived of more discussions on music related topics.
