The movie had Navin Nischol, Asha Parekh, Helen, Nirupa Roy, l, P.Jairaj, Deven Verma, Madan Puri, Brahma Bhardwaj, Asit Sen, Sundar, Bela Bose, Sulochana Chatterjee, Praveen Paul, Karan Dewan, Rashid Khan, Ravi kant, Kuljeet, Subrotho Mahapathra, M.B.Shetty(fighter shetty), A.K.Hangal, Ravi Kapoor, Ratan Gaurang, Nazir Kashmiri, Yash Sharma etc.

We are all familar with the names of music directors whose names figure in the credits of a movie. Sometimes, when one looks closely, one may be able to have a glimpse of the Assistant music director. When I look at the credits of a Hindi movie, I especially look for the screen showing the list of assistants and sometimes I manage to read the name.

Here is a Mukesh song with a difference. Yes, it is not a sad song. It is a happy song.
This song is from a by now forgotten movie called “Naadaan” (1971) and it was picturised on Navin Nischol. This song was reasonably popular at that time. But as I have repeatedly mentioned, 1971 was the year of bumper crop of outstanding songs, and many nice songs found themselves edged out in popularity stakes. In other less competitive times, the same songs would have fared much better.
