“Hamdard” (1953) was produced by Asha Biswas and directed by S Bhagat under the banner of Variety Pictures. The movie had Shekhar, Nimmi, Smriti Biswas, Yashodharat Katju, Ishu Jagirdar, Harish Bhardwaj, Rajan Kapoor, PD Lal, KS Sengar, and Shivraj etc.

I am aware of “Chaand” (1944) and “Chaand” (1959). It turns out that a movie of this name was released in 1956 too. No information seems to be available on “Chaand” (1956). I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this elusive movie.

The movie had Abhi Bhattacharya ,Kamini Kaushal, Shakuntala, Kammo, Pran, Manorama, Bikram kapoor, Baby Chand, Randhir, Moni Chatterjee, Sarita Devi, Maya Das, DasharathLal,Sharifa, Sailen Bose, Ravikant, Faruqi, Dheer, Jagdish, Sharma, JaniBhai, Iftekar, Shivji Bhai etc in it.
