I am surprised to see that as many as two memorable Holi songs are from 1980s. But when I look at the credentials of the lyricists and the music directors of these songs, I realise that they were very much throwbacks of the past, and so one should not necessarily be surprised that they came with such evergreen songs on the wrong side of the golden era of Bollywood music.

“Masoom” was an upgraded version of “Man Woman and Child”. Incidentally, both these movies were released near about the same time.
