Gham ka fasaana ban gaya achcha

“Manchali” was a lovely romantic comedy movie starring Sanjeev Kumar and Leena Chandawarkar. The movie is also notable for its music and songs.
Most songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, and one by Mukesh.
Considering that Kishore Kumar later married Leena, it was like Kishore Kumar was romancing Leena through these songs. And this song “gham ka fasana ban gaya achcha ” is a very romantic song in the voice of Kishore Kumar, with Leena also chipping in with monosyllables like “Achcha”, “achcha jee” etc.
Picturisation is of course vintage Bollywood. Had they been outside in a garden, the leading duo would have been running around trees, but since they are inside a house, so they manage by running around pieces of furniture. Poor things. 😉

I loved the songs of this movie. Believe it or not, I have yet to see this movie, though its VCD is very much lying there somewhere with me.

I love the songs mostly Kishore Kumars wih lata asha and any other female singer and often sining the songs /listing the
songs and I also store those songs which are not with me mostly which are in romantic songs.

I had planned to spend the day catching up with comments (esp. yours!) on my blog but instead I’m leaving a huge number on yours!
I love this film. Sanjeev and Leena were crackling together, and the songs were frosting on the cake.
