Aane se uske aaye bahaar

If you are looking for a song to uplift your spirits, then look no further than this song from “Jeene Ki Raah”. Every time I listen to this song, I find my spirits soaring sky high.
This song was written by Anand Bakshi and music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Rafi has sung this song beautifully.
The song is picturised on Jeetendra and he is seen walking through nature, viz trees, hills, water streams , rivers, ponds, countryside etc.Birds are on the tree branches, God is in heaven, everything in well with the word, this is the message this first part of the song seems to convey, at least to me.
The same song appears in the movie at other times as well. For instance, this song is sung by Jeetendra again in a party, where Tanuja is seen confined to a wheel chair. As Jeetendra contiues to sing this song, Tanuja, who looks ill and ashen faced in the beginning gradually has colour returning to her face and will to live life palpable within her. She makes effort to rise from her wheel chair, but falls back into it. She makes another effort, and this time, she manages to stand on her feel, unsteadily, but surely.
I am told that this song is sung in the movie at a third occasion as well, but I think these two occasions sums up the song pretty well.
It was Raja, who had given the farmaish for this song long ago, and it was one of the few farmaishes that had escaped my attention. But better late than never. In any case this is not a song that would be forgotten in a hurry. This song has been popular for the last 40 yesrs and this popularity will continue in the future as well.
PS-Sudhir jee has now provided us the lyrics of the third part as well as the link to it as well. The third part (a very brief movie ending part) has the voices of Rafi and Bhupinder Singh singing for Jeetendra and Sanjeev Kumar respectively.

Part 1

aaa ooo
aane se uske aaye bahaar, jaane se uske jaaye bahaar
badi mastaani hai meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehboobaa
aane se uske aaye bahaar, jaane se uske jaaye bahaar
badi mastaani hai meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehboobaa
gungunaaye aise jaise bajte hon ghunghroo kahin pe
aake parvaton se,
jaise girtaa ho jharnaa zameen pe
jharnon ki
mauj hai vo,
maujon ki ravaani hai meri mehboobaa mehbooba
meri zindgaani hai meri mehboobaa
ban sanvar ke nikle aaye saavan kaa jab jab maheenaa
har koyi ye samjhe
hogi vo koyi chanchal haseenaa
poochho to
kaun hai vo,
rut ye suhaani hai, meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehboobaa mehbooba
badi mastaani hai meri mehbooba
hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm

Part II
——————————
aane se uske aaye bahaar,
jaane se uske jaaye bahaar
badi mastaani hai meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehboobaa
is ghataa ko main to
uski aankhon kaa kaajal kahoongaa
is havaa ko main to
uskaa lehraataa aanchal kahoongaa
kaliyon ka bachpan hai
phoolon ki jawaani hai meri mehbooba
meri zindgaani hai meri mehbooba
beet jaate hain din,
kat jaati hai aankhon men raaten
ham naa jaane kyaa kyaa
karte rehte hain aapas men baaten
main thodaa deevaanaa,
thodi si deevaani hai meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehbooba
aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa
saamne main sabke
naam uska nahin le sakoonga
saamne main sabke
naam uska nahin le sakoonga
wo sharam ke maare
rooth jaaye to main kya karoonga
hooron ki malikaa hai
pariyon ki raani hai meri mehboobaa
meri zindgaani hai meri mehbooba
badi mastaani hai meri mehbooba

Part III
————————————-
(Rafi, Bhupendra, Both)
badi mastaani hai
meri mehbooba
meri zindgaani hai
meri mehbooba
aane se us ke aaye bahaar
jaane se us ke jaaye bahaar
badi mastaani hai
meri mehbooba

Atul ji,
Thanks for the update to this song.
Pradeep ji, Peevesie’s Mom ji,
Now we can declare this film also as a complete film. (Awaiting your exclamation) 🙂
The movie has total of 7 songs listed, but actually only 5 distinct songs. This particular song appears 3 times in the film. With today’s update of the 3rd part of this song, all songs of this film are now on the blog.

Indeed this is a very uplifting song.
That is why I like it very much.
Rafisaab’s voice, the scenes in nature – excellent combo.
