“Majboor” was one of the earlier movies of Amitabh Bachchan before his superstardom days. This movie had him playing a more believable role of a normal human being with weaknesses, rather than the larger than life hero he soon became.
“Majboor” had some very nice songs in it. Here is one of the lesser known songs from this movie. It is sung by Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. Though Amitabh Bachchan and Parveen Babi figure in this song, this song is sung by two bit actors.
Anand Bakshi wrote the song and Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the music.

I regard this “Aarzoo” (1965) as the new “Aarzoo”. The old “Aarzoo” is the movie of this name from 1950 which had music by Anil Biswas.

Once again, a song that I had forgotten completely (because I don’t own a CD or cassette with this song on it!). I noticed one thing – the setting and the song are so similar to “Leke pehla pehla pyar …” from C.I.D, where Dev Anand and Shakila are walking along the beach, and two people sing the song to manao Shakila, and Shakila refuses to be amused! I guess the directors are also looking to the past to see what kind of scenes proved popular in the past.
