In 1960s, Shammi Kapoor was the expert when it came to “teasing” ladies. Other aspiring heroes tried to ape Shammi Kapoor, but they hardly looked in the same league as a teaser.
In this song, “dekha hai sabhi ne chand ko”, aspiring hero Sanjay Khan does his level best to tease Rajshree. And Rajshree, who for some reason reminds me of Raveena Tandon appears suitably offended, as the teased ladies are supposed to be in such songs.
The song was sung by Rafi. Indeewar wrote the lyrics and Kalyanji Anandji composed the music. The movie was “Dil Ne Pukaara” (1967).
