I have posted many songs in this blog which I call “teasing” songs, viz songs where the girl gets teased by the boy.
In most of the time, it is one boy teasing a girl, and the accompanying song being sung by Rafi or Kishore Kumar. And I always commented on how it would be like if Hemant Kumar or Talat Mahmood were to sing a teasing song.
In this song, it is not one or two or three, but four boys who tease the girl (Nutan) and the teasers sing in the voices of Talat Mahmood, Rafi, Francis Vaz and C Ramchandra. Yes, it is Talat Mahmood who first does the honours. It is difficult to imagine that Talat Mahmood’s singing could be construed as teasing. But for the lyrics, he could well be singing in praise of the girl.
Then it is Rafi who sings. And as we all know, he was quite an exponent in this genre of songs.
I am not much aware about the first two teasers. But the third teaser is Mehmood, who sings in the voice of Francis Vaz. The fourth teaser, again unknown to me, sings in the voice of C Ramchandra.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist and C Ramchandra is the music director.
This song was a long pending farmaish for inclusion in this blog. I did not post it earlier, because all this while I was under the impression that I had already posted it. Actually I had posted two other songs from this movie called “Baarish” (1957) and I confused this song with them.
Better late than never. So here is this “teasing” song from “Baarish”.

Raja, any idea who are the four actors in this song ? Mehmood I can identify, but other three are unknown for me.

4th actor appeared in famous serial Nukkad of DD, his name may be Kishore Bhatt

another actor with overcoat ,must be KUNDAN
and
another actor with pagdi must be SAMPSON,
Sampson`s name is based on my guess work, Please help, if I am wong in identification

I saw this movie just a few months ago.
Isn’t Nutan just fabulous in this song ?
This song shows different shades to her acting, it is really worth watching for that alone.
As is no secret, she is in my top-3 heroines of all time.
