I have never heard of a movie called “Roshni” (1949). But that did not prevent me from stumbling upon a song from this movie.
Here is this song from “Roshni” (1949). It is sung by C Ramchandra who is the music director of this song as well. P L Santoshi is the lyricist.
Apparently only the audio of this song is available, so it is not possible to find out how this song was picturised. But then most Bollywood songs have traditionally been savoured for their audio and so enjoying a song aurally is still the traditional way of enjoying them, so here is this forgotten song from an era some sixty years ago.
