After watching so many “teasing” songs, I find non- teasing songs such a sight for sore eyes. These are songs where the boy is treating the girl in a dignified manner and the girl is not minding his advances. Here is one such delighfully picturised romantic song from “Ghoonghat” (1960).
This song is a duet, sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Asha Bhonsle. It is picturised on Pradeep Kumar and Asha Parekh. The song is picturised in and around Delhi , it appears, and it is interesting to get a glimpse of Delhi as it was half a century ago. The roads and places were far less crowded and the concrete jungle was yet to sprout all over the place.
This nice song is written by Shakeel Badayuni and music is composed by Ravi.

oh my god itna pyara song hai kabhi nahi suna tha thanx atul….such mein yeh gana dil ko chu gaya jee karta hai sunti hi rahon….

‘harzai’ is incorrect. It is ‘harjai’. In ‘bahke to hain ruswai’ ‘hain’ should be replaced by ‘hai’.

Delhi? This looks more like the hills in California with the long dry grasses. I was born in Delhi but don’t recall it ever looking like this. Delhi and much of the gangetic plains are flat flat flat.
