Taare taare kitne neel gagan pe taare

Hindi movies, especially those of 1960s and 1970s, often had a birthday song in it. Many of these birthday songs have gone on to become evergreen birthday songs which are played/sung in birthdays even today.
It is also noticeable that almost all these birtdays songs were meant for kids. I do not recall any bithday songs meant for grown ups. I have no idea why.
Here is a birthday song from “Aap Aaye Bahaar Aayi” (1971). It is sung by Rafi and a then very young Hemlata. The song is picturised on Rajendra Kumar, Sadhana and a kid called Master Bobby (who I am told was actually a girl). Then there are many other guests as one expects in a birtday.
The song is written by Anand Bakshi and music is composed by Laxmikanyt Pyarelal.
