Aao re aao khelo holi

“Baalika Badhu” (Child bride) as the name suggests was a movie made on the theme of child marriage. In this movie, Sachin and Rajni Sharma play the children who get married to each other. Sachin has some idea of what marriage is all about but his bride (played by a then thirteen year old Rajni Sharma) is mentally still a child. The dilemma of a teenage boy dealing with his wife who is still a kid was depicted nicely in this movie.
I have not watched this movie and only read about it. That means I have only watched the better known songs from this movie.
While searching for Holi song on the occasion of Holi, I found out that “Baalika Badhu” (1976) too had a Holi song in it.
Here is this Holi song. This song shows many people celebrating Holi. the song is credited to be sung by Sapan Chakravarty, though one can see that the song is sung by several singers. I request my knowledgeable readers to help identify the other singers and also the actors in the picturisation. I can identify Sachin (who takes no part in the holi celebration but he is certainly missing his bride). Asrani is shown applying gulaal on his wife.
This nice and less known Holi song is written by Anand Bakshi. Music is composed by R D Burman.
