Jeewan hai anmol panchhi

I was aware of a movie called “Laakhon Mein Ek” which was released in 1971, but now I have come to know that there was another movie of the same name that was released as far back as 1947.
This 1947 movie was a Ranjit Movietone production. It was directed by Taimur Behramshah. This movie had actors like Khursheed (Jr), Ghulam Mohammad, Nirupa Roy, Bipin Gupta,Qamar etc in it.
Here is a song with a message from this movie. This song is sung by lesser known singers, viz Md Hussain Faarooqui and Hamida Bano. The song is written by Pt Indra Chandra.
This movie had two music directors, namely Bulo C Rani and Hansraj Bahl. It is not clear which of these two music directors composed this song. Knowledgeable readers are requested to throw more light on this matter.
This is a forgotten song, and listening to this song for the first time is a nice and soothing experience for me.

Atul ji,
Mohammed Hussain Farooqi,the singer of the above song may not be known to many of our readers.
Mohd.Farooqi was born on 17-8-1915 at jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.He was keen on Music from childhood,but his religious Haji father was against it,as he wanted him to become a Teacher.
In 1945,Farooqi came to Bombay with a letter for Khemchand Prakash(originally from Rajasthan).He stayed in old khar with a friend.After an year KP called him to his house.When Farooqi went there,K.L.Saigal was also sitting there.KP asked him to sing a song.He sang Saigal’s ‘So ja rajkumari so ja’.Saigal was impressed and he was employed by Ranjeet Movietone on a princely monthly salary of 200 rupees.
He got his first break with ‘Chcheen lo Azaadi-1947.His song ‘kamzoronki nahi hai duniya’ was popular with freedom fighters.
He sang 15 songs in 12 movies,all with Bulo.C Rani and Hansraj Behl only.His voice and style became very popular,but he had to return to Rajasthan to look after ailing father and his hugh property there.He never came back after 1950 and died on 8-2-1990 peacefully.
For the above film,Lakhon me ek and Pehli pehchan, also in 1947,the music was given by both-Bulo C Rani and Hansraj Behl together and songs are credited to both.
