Tere khayaalon mein tere hi khwaabon mein

I have discussed as many as four songs from ‘Meri Soorat Teri Aankhen” (1963). Each of these songs are timeless classics. After discussing each one of them, I felt that there was no need or room for any other great song in the movie.
But I have been proved wrong, yet again. Here is the fifth great song from this movie. I became aware of this song only after I received the lyrics of this song from Prakashchandra.
I had some way of explaining why I liked the other songs of this movie, but in case of this song, it is difficult to put a finger to the reason why this song is liked so much by so many music lovers.
This song is sung by Lata. it is picturised on Asha Parekh and Ashok Kumar. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by S D Burman. Perhaps it is the words, or the music, or the voice, or more likely a combination of them,that makes this song such a fantastic song to listen to. One can keep listening to this song over and over again and not feel bored.

Do we have a record for a fastest fifty??
We have done the fifty songs from 4501 to 4550 in six days. It seems like a record. 🙂

This 50 as well as the previous 50 was done in 6 days. This is the fastest 50 ever beating the record of fastest 50 in 7 days. I am doing it consciously in order to be able to reach 100 in 12 days. 🙂

Yes, definitely a combination; my preference would be the music composition. The flow is so pleasing that it simply melts like honey as it plays. Sweet sweet melody and sweet words, a very hummable song.
