Ham itna tumse keh ke chale jaayenge

on:I have discussed as many as eight songs from “Bilwamangal” (1954) already in the blog. Majority of songs of this movie were sung by C H Atma and Suraiyya, who played the lead roles in this movie.
Here is a song from this movie which is sung by Suraiyya and which was obviously picturised on her as well. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
PS-I am thankful to Sudhir for correcting the lyrics as well as for providing the translation of this song.

Song-Ham itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge (Bilwamangal)(1954) Singer-Suraiyya, Lyrics-D N Madhok, MD-Bulo C Rani
Lyrics
Ham itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
ham itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
zara dil ne
hamen na dam lene diyaa
haan majboor kiyaa
zara dil ne
hamen na dam lene diyaa
aur majboor kiyaa
ham jhoothhi sachchee keh ke
kisey behlaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
ham itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
tumhaare saamne baithhke ro lenge
aur nahin bolenge
tumhaare saamne baithhke ro lenge
aur nahin bolenge
ham pyaar tumhaara saath leke
mar jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
ham itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge
ham nahin aayenge

hum itna tum se keh ke chale jaayenge
tum laakh bulaaoge, hum nahin aayenge
I shall go away, but I will say this before I leave
That you may call me a million times, but I will not return
zara dil ne hamen na dam lene diyaa, aur majboor kiyaa
hum jhoothi sacchee keh ke kisey behlaayenge
My tormented heart compels me, now it does not let me pause for a breath
(I remember the sweet nothings we used to exchange)
Alas, whom shall I pamper, and share these bitter sweet asides of love
tumhaare saamne baithhke ro lenge aur nahin bolenge
hum pyaar tumhaara saath leke mar jaayenge
I will sit before you, and pour my heart out in tears – but will not speak with you
And when I leave this world behind, your love is the only thing that will accompany me

Dear Atul
Good evening
Indeed nice song and thanks for the lyrics.
But most important is the translation of the song in to English, the language known by many. So it would be nice if you could provide the translation as well, if it is not inconvenient.
That is my request.
Wishing you success. All the best and Good Luck
With Blessings
