“Laal Pari” (1954) is an obscure movie about which little information is available online. That was how things stood when I discussed the first song from this movie.
In response to that post, Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh, our in house encyclopeadia on old and obscure movies, shared the following information about this movie:-
LAAL PARI(1954),a N.C.Films production. It was directed by Kedar Kapoor,MD was Hansraj Behl and lyrics by Asad Bhopali.
The cast was Mahipal chand Bhandari, Shakila, Kuldeep Kaur, B.M.Vyas, Tiwari, Helen,Maruti, Johnny walker etc.
Here is another song from “Laal Pari” (1954). Like the earlier song discussed in this blog, this song too is sung by Geeta Dutt. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist and Hansraj Bahl composed the music.
Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh had informed us that the earlier song discussed from this movie, viz Main jannat ki hoor hoon was picturised on Helen. Seeing that the song under discussion is also sung by Geeta Dutt, I guess that this song could well be picturised on Helen. I could be wrong , of course, but let me regard this song as a Helen song till I am informed otherwise by our knowledgeable readers.
Incidentally, Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh has shared rare information about old and obscure movies in this blog for over 200 movies in one year and we in this blog treasure these informations, and indeed him as well, as our valuable possession. We hope that he will continue to enrich our knowledge about old and obscure movies by sharing rare information from his systematic notes that he has maintained about these movies.
So here is this fantastic song which sounds like a quintessential bar dance song, and which is indeed a quintessential bar dance song picturised on Helen.
