Hindi movie songs cover lots of ground as far as depicting various human feelings as well as activities of Indians are concerned. But there are still a few regular activities that have been sadly underrepresented. For instance, there are hardly any songs for an activity as common as buying and selling of vegetables.
I am happy to find a song of this genre. The lovely song is sung by Rafi. S H Bihari is the lyricist and music is composed by Ravi.
I am unable to identify the actor playing the mobile vegetable vendor selling vegetables on a thhela. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the actor.
PS-The actor is Agha as identified by several knowledgeable readers.

S H Bihari and Ravi is a very uncommon combination! We normally associate S H Bihari with O P Nayyar!

Last week we had a song from Puraskaar (1970) where S H Bihari teamed up with RDB.

It is Agha Senior and the word is “merath” ka karela. Merath is urdu/hindi name for ‘Meerut’.
