There are 2 names,connected with this film,which have hardly info to the general readers.
MAHENDRA DEHALAVI was born in Delhi in 1932 in a musician’s family.But he persued Journalism as he was more interested in writing than actual music.After few years,he came to Bombay to try his luck. he first started as a lyricist.His first film being Lalkar.he also tried his hand at writing s/play,dialogues and stories of films,like dardedil,Allrounder,Mehak,nagin aur lutera etc.Then he wrote lyrics again,in films like jazbaat,Lalkar,Ek baar kaho,Raju ban gaya gentleman,khiladi,laajo ets.he wrote songs for about 30 odd films.
he died on 22-12-1992.
RAJKAMAL was more famous as RAJASHRI films’ composer,though he gave music to other films and TV serials also.At the age of 17 itself,he got a Govt.recognition by way of an award for his Tabla playing.he started giving stage shows in Bombay,where,once Tarachand Barjatya heard him and promised him a break as a composer.This promise was fulfilled only with Sawan ka aane do-1979,after 14 years of hopes.meanwhile Rajkamal gave music to films like,Dost aur Dushman-71 and Achha-Bura-72,without much success.However Rajashri’s film opened a new life for him .he brought rustic and family color to Rajkamal films,which was emulated by other composers of Rajashri after him too.
His films wer Jazbaat,Mera Salam,payal ki jhanakaar-1980,which was a very popular musical.Alka Yagnik was given opportunity by him in this film first time.Then came Akhand Soubhagyavati,-81 and Chashm-e-baddur-81.Songs of this film were also famous like,kali Ghodi dwar khadi etc.katha-83 gave soft music.Phulwari-83,classical music was main.
Then he was invited by B.R.Chopra for MAHABHARAT.Then he did TV serial ‘Bahadurshah Zafar giving gazals of Zauk,Ghalib,Wajid ali shah and Zafar etc.This music was indeed a treat.
After this he did some films like kanoon meri Mutthi mein,Amma,Saat saal baad,Razia,Ganga maange khoon and sindoor ki Holi.His last film was Saaz-1996.He died on 1-9-2005.
He will be known for his Rajashri films and several Dharmik TV serials.

Rajkamal died aged 77 due to Alzheimer’s Disease. I pay deep homages to him on this Alzheimer’s Day.
