“Shikaari” (1963) was an Eagle Films Production. It was directed by Mohammad Hussain. The movie had Ajit, Raagini, Helen, Habib, K.N.Singh, Bir Sakuja, Randhir, Tuntun, Madhumati, Raani, Kamal Mehra, Sheela Kashmiri, Baburao, Kamal Mohan, V.Gopal, Jerry, Sabir, Shaam Kumar, Keshav Rana,etc in it.
This movie is remembered the most for its music which was simply stunning. The music of this movie created a spell that has not yet worn out even though nearly half a century have elapsed since.
Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is another song from the movie. It is sung by Lata. The song is picturised on Raagini, with Ajit, Madan Puri, Kamal Mehra etc seen prominently among the audience.
Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. G S Kohli is the music director.

For your and other readers’ info,the youngest Heroine to die while still working was MISS MUSHTARI.
Born in 1915 at Lahore,she was the younger sister of Heroine of those days Zohra Jan.
Mushtari acted at the tender age of just 16 in Anang Sena in a side role.She started as Heroine with Sati Sone in 1932.She acted as Heroine in 8 films and then suddenly she died on 8-6-1934,at the age of only
19 Years !

Divya Bharati (25 February 1974 – 5 April 1993) is another 19 yrs old example (if her birth date is correct), one who was on her way to become the top most actress.

Very sad when untimely death occurred in their prime age like 30 something…Ragini died at age 39 so was Meena Kumari age 39. Other pair Madhubala and Geeta Bali both at 36. Smita Patil in her early 30 at 31.
