“Parwaana” (1947) was produced by R B Haldia and directed by J K Nanda. This movie had K L Saigal, Suraiyya, Najma, K N Singh etc in it. This was thelast movie of K L Saigal who expired before the release of this movie.
As many as ten songs from this movie have been discussed in the past and I was informed that all the songs of this movie have already been covered. Accordingly, this movie has been coloured pink in the list of movies.
Now, I have been informed that one more song from this movie has not yet been covered. When I looked at the list of songs in “Parwaana” (1947) on myswar.com, that site mentions only nine songs from this movie, one less than the number of songs discussed in the blog. So it shows that even sites that contain information from HFGK cannot be fully relied upon for accuracy and completeness of information.
Here is the eleventh song from “Parwaana” (1947). It is sung by Rajkumari. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khursheed Anwar.
Only the audio of this song is available and so I am not aware about the picturisation. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
