“Trolley Driver”(1958) was an obscure movie that few people know anything about. Thanks to Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh, our beloved inhouse encyclopaedia, we are aware about the details of this movie. Here is what he has to say about this movie:
TROLLY DRIVER(1958) was a Divya Jyoti Production, directed by Gajaanan Jagirdar. The story was of Vishram Bedekar, Music by Husnlal Bhagatram and lyrics were from Sarshar Sailani and Asad Bhopali.
The cast was Rehman, Suraiya,Ushakiron, Jagirdar, Madan Puri, Kammo, Bhagwan, Pratima Devi etc.
Raibahadur Roshanlal(Jagirdar) constructs a big building on the land of his defeated enemy Ruplal(Madan Puri),for his daughter Renu(Suraiya). She falls in love with a Trolly driver(during construction) Ravin(Rehman), who is Ruplal’s son. He also saves her life. Roshanlal is angry and tells lies to Renu about Ravin. To take revenge, Renu marries Ravin. After interval and a few reels, she learns the truth and everything is fine at the end.

This song is sung by Suraiyya. sarshar Sailaani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Suraiyya herself.
