“Sanyaasi” (1945) was produced and directed by A K Kardar. The movie had Ghulam Mohammad (actor- different from the music director), Shamim Bano, Amar, Shyam Kumar etc in it.

Here is the third song from this movie. This song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali. Pt Madhur is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
Only the audio of this song is available. seeing that Zohrabai Ambalewaali was the main female singer of the song (she sang seven songs in the movie) and Shamim Bano was the leading lady in the movie, it would seem that this song was picturised on Shamim Bano.
The songs of this movie, including this song sound surprisingly “modern” by the standards of 1945. The explanation for this could be that the music of “Rattan” (1944) was already relesaed by that which had redefined the road map for the future course of HFM and that could be the reason for the rather modern sounding songs of this movie.
