“Roti Kapda Aur Makaan”(1974) was produced and directed by Manoj Kumar for Vishal International Productions Pvt Limited. The movie had Manoj Kumar, Zeenat Amaan, Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dheeraj Kumar, Aruna Irani, Moushumi Chatterjee, PremNath, Madan Puri, Kuljeet Singh, Agha, Meena.T., Lalita Kumari, Sulochana Latkar, Manmohan, Raj Mehra, Birbal, Rajni Bala, KamalDeep, Asit Sen, Harbans, Rajan Kapoor, C.S.Dubey, Madhup Sharma, Jaani Babu, Raza Murad, Kamini Kaushal, Krishan Dhawan etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. As many as five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the sixth and final song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Aruna Irani. The picturisation shows Aruna Irani singing this “drunkard” song in a bid to divert villains led by Manmohan, who are looking for Manoj Kumar. Asit Sen, Madan Puri etc are also visible in the picturisation.
Varma Malik is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

This films’ songs brings back many memories and I like them all very much.
@ Prakash ji – Congratulations ( Now I understand that when I sent you the list of songs 1st time (30.06.13) I was already late). But, now its half-century for me on the other side 🙂 For this film my score 2 – 2 = 0 🙂

The lyrics are clearly influenced by Omar Khayyam and Harvansh Rai Bacchan’s Madhushala.
