“Amar Prem”(1936) was directed by Natwar Shyam for Vishnu Cinetone, Bombay. The movie had Ansuya, Aashiq Hussain, Himmatlal, P R Joshi, Kanta, S Nazir, Anwari, Samson, Fazlu, Mohanlal etc in it.
There were nine songs in this movie according to HFGK and details about one record (two songs) of this movie are available.
Here is one of those two songs. This song is sung by Aashiq Hussain and Pokhraj Banu. Lyricist and the music director are not known.
Looking at the starcast, it can be guessed that the song was picturised on Ashiq Hussain himself, while the actress lip syncing in Pokhraj Banu’s voice is not known.
