“Punarmilan” (1964) was a Nagina Films pdoduction. It was directed by Ravindra Dave. The movie had Balraj Sahni, Leela Chitnis, Jagdeep, Shashikala, Ameeta, Padma devi, Mumtaz Begum, Asit Sen, Amarnath, Raja Nene, Narmada Shankar, Gulshan, Child Shaheed, Shyamlal, Aruna etc. in it.
There were seven songs in this movie according to HFGK. Seven songs from this movie have already been discussed in the blog so far but we still have one more song from this movie yet to e covered. As it is, one of the songs discussed in the blog is a song that does not appear in HFGK. This song, Ye mujhko kyaa huaa hai was very much there in the movie.
Here is the eighth and final song from “Punarmilan”(1964). This song by Asha Bhonsle. Indeewar is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Arjun.
The song is lip synced by Ameeta. Jagdeep, sadly miscast in a serious role in this movie, is supposed look dazed in suspense (as do the heroes in songs like “Aayega aanewaala”, “Gumnaam hai koi” etc but here can only manage to like a deer caught in the headlight.

It is typically suspense film song. Asha has really excelled.
