“Dark Street”(1961) was directed by Naresh Saigal for Shankar movies. The movie had Ashok Kumar, Nishi, K N Singh, Iftekhar, Anoop Kumar, Amirbai Karnataki etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur, Rafi and chorus. Lyricist of the song is not known. Music is composed by Dattaram.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of song. The song sounds like a bhangra dance song to me which typically gets picturised on the lead pair. But then I find it difficult to visualise Ashok Kumar figuring in a dance song doing bhangra. 🙂

Yes, the song & dance was picturised on Ashok Kumar, & the whole audience was laughing, watching Ashok Kumar doing Bhangra!!
The film was released at Swastik Cinema of Bombay & was a super flop, hardly ran a couple of weeks; though some songs were good.
