“Daak Babu” (1954) was an obscure Jubilee Pictures production directed by Lekhraj Bhakri, with Talat Mehmood and Nadira in the lead roles. Hindi Geet Mala lists 10 songs from this movie with links to most of them here. Out of these, four are already on Song-a-Day web-site.
My favourite from this movie is Prem Dhawan’s iconic “Sapne Toot Gaye”, so soulfully rendered by Asha Bhosle under the baton of the less-celebrated but talented Dhaniram. I have no idea as to on whom was it picturised because apart from Nadira, the movie also features Kuldip Kaur and Yashdhara Katju.

Many Thanks for the Asha number.
You had only one post each in 2014 and 2015.
Hope the trend is discontinued.
Your link does not take anywhere but opens the same page on which this song is featured. I don’t think the blog has the option of a link leading to the all the songs of a particular film. I hope I am not wrong in my assessment.
