“Gharaana”(1961) was directed by S S Vasan for Gemini Pictures, Madras. The movie had Rajendra Kumar, Asha Parekh, Raj Kumar, Devika, Minu Mumtaz, Bipin Gupta, Lalita Pawar, Agha, Shubha Khote, Kanhaiya Lal, Krishna Kumari, Vijay Laxmi, Randhir, Moppat Rauja etc in it.
Seven songs from the movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from “Gharaana”(1961) to appear in the blog.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ravi.
Normally It should not surprise people if I say that I am unable to identify the actress lip syncing the song. She is not Asha Parekh, the leading lady of the movie.I am sure of that, or am I? 🙂 I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
