“Kaneez”(1949) was directed by Krishn Kumar for Caravan Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Shyam, Munawwar Sultana, Urmila, Kuldeep, Cuckoo, Tiwari, Ramesh Sinha, Shyama etc in it.

Here is the fifth song from “Kaneez”(1949) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Zeenat Begam. Shatir Ghaznavi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Haider.

Heard for first time. Very likable song. Munnawar looks nice and Zeenat Begum’s voice is fitting. Ghulam Haider was very competent composer with credits of many lovely films. Thanks for such uploads.
