BHAAVNA of 1972 was a social film produced by ‘Satya Films Corporation, Bombay’ and directed by Thakur Karunesh. The star cast included Dev Kumar, Sonia Sahani, Padma Khanna, Kamini Kaushal, Jayashri T, Anita Sinha, Indira, Dev Dutt, Sajjan, Sundar, Dhanraj, B Gopal, Dilip Dutt, Rajrani, Chacha, Mulchand, Deepakraj, Dweejendra Banerjee, Manjit Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, Mahindra kumar, Shyam Kumar, Dhruv Kumar, Satish etc.
Jaidev-ji had composed music to the lyrics of Naksh Layalpuri. One song is already discussed in our musical Blog and this is the second one. Unless some sakhi data gives me even Audio (if not YouTube Video) of. one of the three, a song by Rafi, a song by Suman Kalyanpur and a song by Asha & Usha Mangeshkar, I will have to jump to the next movie to continue with this series.
The song under discussion has a very poor sound quality and in order to enjoy the typical Jaidev style ghazal, one has to put filters to subtract defects and relish only the tune and lyrics. (As I usually do, with rare songs, available in whatever condition I get them.)
